This is your chance to be part of a Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) that is offering owned, managed, and franchised Hilton hotels world-class revenue management talent and tools. As a Senior Lead Specialist, you will support the team that's helping hotels consistently grow market share and outperform competitors. On the Sales and Lead Management team reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work on projects including assisting hotels, hosting regular sales calls, managing sales leads, and producing revenue with proficiency and strategy through qualification and closing sales for hotels, via several group and transient lead sources.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Sales Specialists and collaborate with the Sales and LMS Manager to promote team performance and engagement.
    • Understand and discuss team sales performance with the Manager to collaborate on strategies to enhance Sales goals.
    • Identify team training needs.
    • Support your team in handling escalated issues and daily administrative/operational tasks for their hotel portfolios.
    • Be the subject-matter expert on important initiatives to enhance processes, drive efficiency, and eliminate duplication of efforts.
    • Host Strategic calls with hotel partners on varying topics such as strategy shifts, market changes, and service recoveries.
  • Sales Activities: Manage a partial portfolio of hotel partners, assisting them with sales strategies and revenue generation. This includes hosting sales calls, managing sales leads, and closing sales for hotels through multiple group and transient lead sources.
    • Assist hotels by handling incoming leads with proficiency and strategy to improve overall hotel financial profitability and grow RevPAR Index (market share) for each hotel in a portfolio of properties.
    • Coordinate customer specifications (including room, food and beverage, and meeting space requirements) via the identified lead management system.
    • Enter and maintain pertinent account and booking information following defined standards.
    • Prioritize leads based on group sales strategy and factors affecting group rates, availability, and value.
    • Discuss contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the Hotel.
  • Engage with Revenue Management Partners to establish a selling strategy and related guidelines.
  • Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support the contracting process when needed.
  • Direct additional projects that support the RMCC-Americas objectives. You will work with Lead Management Specialists, Lead Management Coordinators, Assistant Directors, and corporate support staff.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • Lead a team of Sales Specialists to maximize team performance, effectiveness, and engagement, working with your assigned team, manager, peers, and support teams.
  • Managing your own partial portfolio of hotel partners, staying up to date on challenges, opportunities, and best practices as you host sales calls, provide strategic insight, hold market discussions, share updates on existing opportunities/detailed meeting minutes, and prepare proposals and contracts for hotel guestrooms and meeting spaces, including availability and pricing.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • One (1) year of hospitality sales experience
  • One (1) year of experience working in a supervisory role or experience in a mentoring capacity
  • Understanding of sales and catering techniques, and event services
  • Experience with data storytelling and conducting professional presentations to partners

It would be useful if you have:

  • Greater than one (1) year of hospitality sales experience
  • Proficiency with Delphi.fdc, MeetingBroker and OnQ systems
  • Sales experience at a Hilton-branded property
  • Hotel Revenue Management knowledge
