As Senior Manager, Talent & Leadership Development - South East Asia (SEA), you will partner with business and HR leaders to attract, develop, and retain Hilton’s greatest asset: our Team Members. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important, and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Lead the delivery of global and regional leadership development programs across the SEA region
- Drive effective talent management and workforce planning processes, ensuring high-quality talent data inputs, consistent calibration, and actionable outcomes from talent reviews and succession planning from hotel to regional level
- Leverage on workforce and talent data insights to identify pipeline strength, readiness gaps, and development priorities across the key markets
- Collaborate with SEA leadership teams at both corporate and hotel levels to identify and address learning, development, and talent needs
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner closely with the APAC Talent & Leadership Development team to ensure seamless execution of enterprise programs
- Work together with Regional HR and Operations leaders, Regional Specialists, and General Managers to prioritize leadership and talent development initiatives
- Collaborate with hotel HR Operations to continuously improve talent data accuracy through existing talent management process
- Engage with the Global Learning & Development team to align regional execution with Hilton’s global talent and learning strategy
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Develop and implement innovative, scalable leadership and talent solutions aligned with Hilton’s business priorities and talent strategy
- Build strong consultative relationships with Operations and HR stakeholders to ensure local relevance and enterprise alignment
- Oversee the hotel level talent management process, ensuring quality outcomes from talent reviews and succession planning discussions
- Act as the regional custodian of the talent review and succession planning process, ensuring succession discussions are insight-driven and result in tangible development actions
- Identify opportunities for analysis, innovation, and integration across learning, leadership, and talent initiatives to accelerate Hilton’s growth and people capability
- Track and measure impact of leadership programs and talent interventions through data and feedback loops, highlighting progress and areas of improvement
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in training/facilitation and talent management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for business meetings, conferences, and learning events
It would be useful if you have:
- Degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 8+ years of experience specifically in leadership development and talent management
- Proven experience leading key L&D initiatives, ideally within the hospitality industry
- Solid understanding of adult learning, leadership, and organizational development principles
- Exposure to international or emerging markets, demonstrating cross-cultural adaptability
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM or other enterprise HR systems
