What are we looking for?

Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Understanding of Hilton and the competitive landscape, including industry, competition, target audience, and marketplace changes, and be ready to develop strategies to build community.
  • Inherently understand Internet culture, how to build community, and can instantly make us better at doing this in an authentic way.
  • Have experience running Social at global, culturally relevant brands that have a clear voice in social, and where social an important driver of the way is a brand goes to market.
  • Experience building a social / brand presence from scratch or driving meaningful change in approach at a larger brand.
  • Have excellent creative acumen, understanding the importance of creating a brand voice.
  • Have led, or been in and around, creator marketing, either in-house, or working with creator agencies.
  • Experience mentoring a high-performance team.
  • Know how to apply a global mindset to brand building with the instinct for when to lead with a global vs. regional creative to ensure a customer experience.
  • Understanding of culture and consumer trends with a demonstrated expertise in finding natural ways for brands to create cultural capital and build brand meaning.
  • the ability to inspire and sell creative rationale to executive leadership (C-Suite), senior leadership, and diverse teams.
  • Demonstrate a creative, strategic method by applying customer insights, design thinking, and technology.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of in-house experience leading social, influencer, or creator marketing.
  • Five (5) years managing and leading large, globally dispersed teams in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in building and leading Social & Creator teams across global regions (Americas, EMEA, and APAC) and execution for large, global brands.
  • Up to 25% travel.

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  •  Advanced Degree in Marketing
