AP Accountant - Greater China & Mongolia

What will I be doing?
As the AP Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Processes & Transactional Accounting:
o Accounts Payable: review, approve the Team member Business Expense (Reimbursement) and payment processing for all Hilton China corporate entities.
o Prepare and make payments for those Directors and above team members who sold their RSU Stock portion.
o Collate all employee benefits information required for personal tax filings
o Complete the matching of payments to the bank statement on a weekly basis
o Liaise with designated vendor and bank for bank interface setup.
· Month/Quarter/Year end closing:
o Prepare the monthly accrual journal based on team member benefits in kind, committed vendor contracts.
o Prepare and complete the monthly allocation journal for desk cost, reconcile the unamortized costs and complete the allocation journal from BS to P&L.
o Prepare the Balance Sheet Pack comments for AP section.
o Assist Sr Finance Manager on month end closing and responsible for AP section for other ad-hoc tasks.
· Tax:
o Produce monthly VAT reconciliation and summarize the report by VAT rate and ensure verified input VAT matched with the booking VAT amount.
o Produce the airfare VAT input tax reconciliation and prepare the journal of expenses allocation.
· Local Statutory Filings and Compliance:
o Maintain current contracts list and ensure all contracts are valid and appropriately approved
o Overall control of all Hilton China corporate entities’ files held on and off site. Ensure that records / source documents are maintained in line with tax/statutory requirements
o Co-operate with Internal and External Audit, assist the Sr Finance Manager in the external audit process
o Assist the Sr Finance Manager in ensuring that all Hilton China Corp entities complies with the company Standard Practice Instructions and meets Sarbanes Oxley requirements
· Reporting:
o Produce balance sheet reconciliation on AP related accounts
o Provide transactional information to support business analysis and decision making
· Other:
o Provide necessary training to TMs on expense reimbursement policy and procedure.

An AP Accountant serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
· Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
· Minimum Years of Experience: 5-8 years
· Minimum Years of Management Experience: n/a
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work effectively with all levels of team members.
· Advanced computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Financial system such as PeopleSoft, SUN, Concur.
· Any Licenses or Certificates Required: accounting certificate (at least)
· Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): n/a
