What will I be doing?
As the Accountant, AR collection, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Receivable Collection:
o Mainly Responsible for receivables’ collection for Affiliated fees which billed locally from HEM entity.
· Credit Analysis and Control:
o Work closely with UK OTC team, local AR billing team to better understand the billing items, timing and Fapiao issuing status.
o Provide guidance or support for hotels who have any issues/questions on receivable matters.
o Collect comments from hotels regarding receivables, manage any outstanding invoices and follow up with related dept, RDFs and Ops team.
o Exercise judgment in identifying and escalating matters to managers attention and above.
o Consolidate and summarize major issues to raise in the monthly receivable meeting.
o Prepares and issues credit risk assessments and makes recommendations.
o Work with Legal team to prepare reminder letters, legal default letters and deliver to respective hotels/owners.
· Reporting:
o Prepare receivable reports by fee categories and other required customized reports.
o Analyse credit risks and trends on settled and unsettled receivables.
· Local Statutory Filings and Compliance:
o Co-operate with Internal and External Audit, assist the Financial Controller in the external audit process.
o Check confirmation letters from hotels and related vendors.
o Support Financial Controller on any ad-hoc tasks.

• Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years

• Any Licenses or Certificates Required: Intermediate Accounting Certificate (at least)
