AR Accountant - Greater China & Mongolia

What will I be doing?
As the AR Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Processes & Transactional Accounting:
o Accounts Receivable: Perform daily cash application for all receipts in HHM, HEM Shanghai and FSSC Nanjing entity in PeopleSoft. The receivable fee category includes Management fees, RMCC fees, Development Service fees, FSSC service fees, ICO fees and Affiliated fees, etc.
o Communicate with hotels directly and closely to ensure the cash application is completed correctly and timely.
o Follow up with hotels on unallocated items and make the book clean and clear.
o Complete the matching of receipts to the bank statement on a weekly basis.
o Perform reconciliation for those credit values of affiliated billings, liaise with hotels to provide debit note and VAT Fapiao to HEM Shanghai for further processing.
· Bank Reconciliation:
o Perform weekly bank reconciliation for all China Corp entities, HHM, HEM Shanghai, HEM Beijing, HEM Shenzhen and FSSC Nanjing.
· Local Statutory Filings and Compliance:
o Co-operate with Internal and External Audit, assist the Sr Finance Manager in the external audit process.
o Assist Sr Finance Manager in ensuring that HHMS complies with the company Standard Practice Instructions and meets Sarbanes Oxley requirements
· Other:
o Provide necessary support to Hotels on billing stuff.

• Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years
• Minimum Years of Management Experience: n/a
• Any Licenses or Certificates Required: Intermediate Accounting Certificate (at least)
• Additional Requirements (i.e., % of travel time, etc.): n/a
