Director, Digital Group Distribution
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Build and communicate strategic insights to support the distribution strategy and capitalize on commercial opportunities for optimal performance (channel contribution, channel mix, market share goals).
- Develop and add new distribution partners and oversee the successful launch of any new initiatives
- Support New Brand, New Openings, and Need Hotel Initiatives.
- Ability to identify and exploit revenue and market share opportunities and deploy tactics to remedy challenges and take advantage of opportunities.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with the relevant commercial teams to provide direction and input on the development and deployment of communication and the development of training materials
- Work in a matrix organization, build strong partner and internal relationships
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Lead Distribution and Vendor Negotiations
- Ensure relevant distribution initiatives are planned adequately and successfully deployed.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Extensive experience in digital distribution in the hospitality industry or similar business
- Five (5) years in management, project management, account management roles.
- Experience leading cross-functional or project teams
- Travel up to 20%
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's degree
- Sound understanding of Hilton brands, operations, systems, and organization
- Sound understanding of Digital Platforms (Example: Group and/or GDS)
