As a Specialist, Project Support-Business Development, you will support the team that's helping hotels consistently grow market share and outperform competitors.  On the Business Development team, reporting to the Sr Manager, Project Support-Customer Success, you will engage in various projects, including workflow support in Salesforce, contract management for new services, customer success efforts, and new customer prospecting, as needed.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Responsible for managing the pipeline of hotels required to join RMCC in compliance with brand standards and track and manage the waiver process.
  • You’ll handle inbound inquiries about Sales and Revenue Management services from prospective hotel partners
  • Partner with internal Sales & Revenue Management leaders to understand service models and ensure alignment in sales efforts
  • You will engage with hotel teams and owners on all stages of RMCC contracting—from initial engagement inquiries through termination exit interview
  • You will support customer success efforts through customer communications and other partner engagement initiatives.
  • Prospecting for new RMCC partners as needed.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Attend stand-up calls and team meetings with Business Development team to align on objectives and update team on current progress and roadblocks
  • Partner with hotel teams and owners to sell the value of RMCC services
  • Develop new projects with other internal teams designed to improve RMCC business functions and/or services

What projects you will take ownership of: 

  • Manage pipeline and executing contracts for inbound hotels joining RMCC and LMS Services, developing a system to track and maintain waivers, and partner with internal Hilton teams to ensure implementation of RMCC brand standards.

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • One (1) year of work experience in Business Development, Hospitality, Sales, Revenue Management or related field.
  • You are collaborative and love building and maintaining relationships.
  • Experience in managing complex workflows and business processes.
  • Strong organizational skillset.

It would be useful if you have:

  • One (1) year of project support experience
  • Storytelling with data experience
  • Previous Salesforce experience
