Director, Global Marketing Operations & Program Management

What your day-to-day will be like:
- Lead and elevate a team of Program Managers, Campaign Managers, and Marketing Ops professionals, supporting the entire global marketing portfolio of work from strategic development through execution.
- Develop and implement a best-in-class program management function, transforming how marketing campaigns and projects are executed across Hilton globally.
- Play a strategic and integrative leadership role in identifying, designing, and implementing high-impact strategic initiatives that enhance the portfolio of Marketing & Loyalty projects and campaigns.
- Support program management team to define and manage deliverables, facilitate decision-making, and define risk mitigation strategies/contingencies.
- Engage with senior leadership across the organization to ensure program management team remains aligned with corporate strategy and to manage the execution of team plans to meet corporate objectives.
- Develop and utilize key program management tools to ensure efficient program planning, execution, and tracking.
- Manage key program-related reporting and documentation, including monthly reports.
- Deliver project related updates to all levels of the organization.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work closely with the strategy leads and portfolio analytics team to ensure clarity of goals and define integrated work plans to meet these objectives.
- Partner with global content, media, and creative teams to ensure programs and campaigns deliver on strategy and hit key brand milestones.
- Work with Finance teams to establish program-related budgets and resourcing plans, monitor plans, and ensure adherence to budget.
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Design, implement, and oversee a best-in-class annual strategy & planning framework for the Global Marketing & Loyalty organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives to evolving market dynamics.
- Continuously assess and optimize operational efficiencies across internal teams and external partners, streamlining processes, improving collaboration, and enhancing execution speed.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of work experience in marketing campaign management, project management, or marketing operations.
- Five (5) years of experience leading large teams.
- Proven experience in process transformation—enhancing and streamlining how programs are developed, launched, and executed from strategy to market delivery.
- Experience leading a team of marketing project, program, or campaign managers.
- Experience overseeing a complex portfolio of projects or campaigns from start to finish, ideally within a global marketing organization or agency.
- Experience navigating a matrixed, global organization.
- Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA office (3 days per week).
- Travel up to 25%.
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience with AirTable
- PMP certification
