Senior Lead Software Engineer iOS

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like: 

• Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and unit-tested appropriately
• Leverage established architectural principles and agile delivery methodology to bring to life new business capabilities and app functionality
• Propose usage of technology trends and innovations

How you will collaborate with others:

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, delivery managers, quality engineers, designers, and other developers to craft and implement the Hilton iOS app experience
• Participate in agile ceremonies including grooming sessions, daily stand ups, retrospectives, and code reviews
• Participate in a fast-paced environment with daily commits, weekly store release, real-time collaboration with developers, UI/UX designers, product owners, and platform engineers

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Participate in our iOS app modernization efforts using technologies like SwiftUI and TCA
• Chip in to building reusable libraries and UI components as you build new, more personalized, experiences in our iOS app

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
• Six (6) years of experience with full-cycle software development, preferably in an agile environment including design, coding, testing, release, and maintenance
• Five (5) years of experience with iOS application engineering with at least one app shipped to the Apple App Store
• Experience with Xcode (Interface Builder & Instruments), SwiftUI, Swift, and Objective-C
• Experience with UlKit, Core Animation, KVO, Core Data, URL loading, and web services
• Experience/ working knowledge with various architectural design patterns, such as UDF, MVVM, and MVC
• Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
• Nine (9) + years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
• Experience with Combine, RxSwift, or other reactive programming framework.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and Agile Software tools such as Jira

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-$165,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
