HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• With support, implement clean, concise code that is stable and testable.
• Help analyze and resolve technical obstacles for their team.
• Actively participate in code reviews.
• With support, debug and resolve production issues

How you will collaborate with others:

• Understand preferred design patterns and analyze design tradeoffs with the team.
• Understand and discuss technical issues, offer solutions, and collaborate with peers to meet goals.
• Collaborate and shares knowledge within your cross-functional team, which includes the Platform Architect, QA, and developers from other platforms/channels, seeking support as needed.
• Refine requirements into small batches of work and coordinates work within the team.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• With support, contribute to the development of reusable components to decrease time to market and helps implement architecture patterns.
• Help build reusable libraries, UI components, deploying and supporting the app in production.
• Contribute to the development of the Hilton Mobile App using the latest of technologies like Swift, SwiftUI, and UDF Patterns.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• One (1) year of experience using SwiftUI
• Experience with architectural design patterns (UDF, MVVM, etc.) and concurrency patterns (Swift Concurrency, Combine, or RxSwift)
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality
• This is a hybrid role and will require you to be near the Dallas office
• Travel up to 5%

It would be useful if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus six plus (6+) years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus twelve plus (12+) years of Technology related experience
• Five (5) + years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
• Knowledge of CI/CD patterns
• Knowledge of Redux patterns
• Experience working closely with developers and reviewing their code
• Experience building apps in Travel/Leisure domains
