What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Social communicator, who will positively influence Hilton’s partners and who will communicate effectively at all levels
  • Problem-solving skills to tackle problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: GitLab, Atlassian Stack, Node.js, React, GraphQL, and NOSQL databases such as Couchbase
  • Familiarity with industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements related to information security and cloud computing (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, SOC2)

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in risk management focusing on IT vendor assessment, IT audit, or application/web security
  • Advanced experience analyzing application/software frameworks, security control frameworks, or architecture/network/data flow diagrams
  • Direct experience with SAST & DAST scanning tools

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • One of the following professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CWSP, or GCWN
  • Ten (10) + years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Experience with development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
  • Experience working with Cloud design and architecture (e.g., SaaS, IaaS)
