What are we looking for?

Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Familiarization and experience with Data as a Product concepts and implementations.
  • Strong knowledge and background in data platform technologies including big data, data warehouse, data mart, business intelligence, data pipelines, and modern data analytics tools.
  • Capable of transforming the organization from traditional Data platforms and teams to a modern data product platform and modern analytics platform.
  • Expertise in designing and building solutions for scalability and redundancy with global considerations and scale in mind.
  • An understanding of the company's business objectives and the ability to design and implement data and analytics strategies and solutions that align with those objectives

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
  • Ten (10) years of experience designing and implementing big data and modern analytics architecture, platforms, and solutions.
  • Ten (10) years of enterprise architecture or enterprise data architecture experience.
  • Comprehensive experience with different architectural domains such as data, analytics, integration, application, security, and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience driving transformational change at a global scale, maturing, and positioning the organization to incorporate relevant emerging technologies around the use of big data, data warehousing, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
  • Experience establishing effective data governance process, data integrations, data quality, and delivering high-quality data products.
  • Experience transitioning people, process, and technology from legacy data platforms to modern platforms.

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience 
  • Experience working with enterprise-level data platforms and tools (Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Marts, and Operational Data.
  • Experience developing and leading enterprise data architecture community of practice.
  • Excellence in influencing broad technical and business discussions and decisions.
  • Experience applying enterprise architecture concepts in an Agile environment.
  • Strong collaboration and networking skills.
