Senior Director, Brand Analytics & Customer Research

This is your chance to be part of the Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all departments across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton's strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights, combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton's goals.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the VP, Customer Insights & Analytics, the Senior Director, Brand Analytics & Customer Research will lead a team of analytics professionals and researchers that work with Hilton's Brand and Brand Marketing organizations. The Senior Director and team will guide brand initiatives by analyzing brand performance and conducting custom research projects. This team will also provide insights on opportunities to improve the customer experience, ensuring that Hilton continues to provide the best experiences for our guests!
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Advise strategic brand initiatives by providing insights developed within the team, with a focus on strengthening brand experiences, customer loyalty, market share, and supply growth.
- Analyze and provide insights on the customer experience and customer sentiment with Hilton's existing brand programs, and conduct and evaluate tests of new initiatives.
- Conduct custom research projects, using qualitative and quantitative research approaches to deliver insights on customer attitudes, behaviors, and segmentation.
- Deliver recurring and custom ad-hoc reporting on brand performance across all metrics, using complex internal and external data sources.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with brand category, regional, and functional leaders to provide insights and analytics to support decision-making.
- Partner with other leaders within the department on large projects and to provide a holistic perspective on Hilton's customers.
- Partner with enterprise data and business intelligence leaders to deliver reporting and support self-service data tools.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of direct people management experience
- Five (5) years of functional experience in analytics, market and consumer research, or customer sentiment analysis.
- Five (5) years of demonstrated ability translating data into insights, including both the generation of insights and the delivery of insights via presentations.
- Expertise using data management tools (such as MicroStrategy, Qualtrics, Displayr, or Tableau) to analyze data, pull data for reporting, and present compelling data visualizations.
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Skills demonstrated in Consulting such as research methods, statistics, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, storytelling, and delivering presentations.
- Experience with text analytics, natural language processing, customer segmentation, advanced data modeling, and hands-on ability to use data analytics software.
