Senior Analyst, Forecast Analytics

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Apply forecasting techniques and develop Hilton's commercial forecast engine.
• Uncover insights on trends affecting commercial performance and perform sensitivity modeling

How you will collaborate with others:

• Collaborate with data scientists to develop forecasting models that predict performance
• Explain outlook and contributing business trends to business leaders and enable a deeper understanding of performance trends.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Develop forecast models that incorporate travel demand and impacts of marketing, pricing, and product initiatives.
• Deploy performance outlook dashboards that enable business deep-dives.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years of work experience in Forecasting, Data Science or Business Analytics.
• Two (2) years of work experience with scripting SQL queries and automating data processes
• One (1) year of work experience conducting complex analysis and modeling in Microsoft Excel, R, or Python
• One (1) year of work experience working with BI and Data Visualization Tools (Microstrategy, etc.)
• Travel up to 10% (if applicable)

It would be useful if you have:

• Two (2) years of functional experience in Forecasting, Hotel Sales, Revenue Management, or Hospitality Analytics 
• Ability to balance and translate complex analytical methodologies into organizational and business objectives
