Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence (Brand Analytics)

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years in the field of analytics
• Two (2) years creating reports, dashboards, and/or summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions
• Experience with leading Business Intelligence tools, preferably MicroStrategy or Tableau
• Shown knowledge in data warehousing, SQL and data management concepts
• Demonstrable experience with data management tools like Informatica, SSIS or Alteryx for data transfer and preparation
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using SQL for ad-hoc queries and performing data profiling
• Must be confident writing complex queries and creating/troubleshooting stored procedures
• Experience creating detailed process documentation and conducting knowledge transfer
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or MA/MS Master's Degree
• Functional experience in hospitality
• End-to-end understanding of the data flow process (from ingestion to consumption layer)
• Solid working experience with surrounding and supporting disciplines (data quality, data operations, BI/Data WH/Data Lake)
• Experience using R, Python or other statistical analysis and data mining tools
• Experience with process improvement (Six-Sigma)
• Familiarity with Agile Project Management is helpful.
