Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22.63 an hour to start
Shift Pattern: AM with the availability to work weekends and holidays
The ideal Pastry Cook II candidate is a skilled and motivated pastry professional with a strong foundation in both classic and contemporary pastry techniques. They bring a minimum of 3 years of pastry experience, including at least 1 year in a high‑volume hotel banquet environment, and are comfortable working efficiently and creatively in a fast‑paced production setting. This candidate takes pride in consistency, attention to detail, and maintaining high standards while supporting the daily operations of a busy pastry shop. They are collaborative, eager to learn, and passionate about contributing to an elevated guest experience through exceptional pastry craftsmanship.
What will I be doing?
As a Pastry Cook II, you would be responsible creating, preparing, producing and baking all pastries, breads, rolls and desserts for food and beverage outlets in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
Execute daily baking and production of all pastry items, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to hotel standards.
Assemble desserts and pastry products for restaurants, banquets, and grab‑and‑go outlets.
Plate and present desserts for buffets and banquet events, maintaining a high level of accuracy and visual appeal.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
