Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator supports the Director of Operations (DO) with coordination of all operational departmental needs. You will drive Learning, Development and Legal Compliance, hotel campaigns – such as Blue Energy and Make it Right and assist with administration tasks advised by the DO. You will handle a variety of administrative and operational tasks to support the DO. This role involves professional communication, guidance for internal applications, and ad-hoc tasks. This is a unique and rare opportunity to work in a fast paced, high learning, career growing position in hospitality within operations of a big box, iconic hotel.
What will I be doing?
- Handle email and telephone enquiries professionally.
- Drive and follow up on mid-year and end-of-year reviews, annual trainings and other brand requirements.
- Fulfil additional ad-hoc requirements as directed by the DO.
- Attend meetings and take minutes as requested by the DO.
- Assist DO in overseeing ongoing projects such as program implementation and hotel-wide changes.
- Act as a liaison for operational departments, tracking and following up on job completion rates.
- Assist DO in implementing WHS actions in collaboration with the Safety and Security representative and participate actively in the WHS committee.
- Provide various operational support tasks, including responding to email enquiries, assisting with reservations, maintaining communication, and ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
- Maintain and update Open table as necessary for Glass Brasserie, Glass Breakfast, Zeta and Marble Bar.
- Assist operations department where required.

- Food and Beverage and/or industry experience
