A laundry technician maintains and performs preventive maintenance on all Laundry Equipment. As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multitask in other sections.
What will I be doing?
As a Laundry technician, you are expected to maintain and performs preventative maintenance on all laundry equipment. As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task in other sections.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Perform equipment repairs.
- Perform visual equipment evaluations.
- Enter repair in Repair Logbook.
- Multitask in other sections when called upon.
- Assist in the implementation of energy conservation program.
- Recommend maintenance system improvements and energy savings.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition.
- Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date.
What are we looking for?
A Laundry technician who maintains and performs preventative maintenance on all laundry equipment. As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task in other section.
- A certificate in a specialized field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, required.
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
- Electrical trouble shooting, wiring, schematics reading, Mechanical trouble shooting.
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain laundry equipment.
- A passion for delivering great customer service.
- Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes.
- Minimum of HND or BSC in related field.
