What are we looking for? 

Hilton is looking for a social media expert, proficient in both written and verbal Arabic, to join their team as Snr Social Media Manager. Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will work in conjunction with the EMEA Centre of Excellence team based in the UK as well as the MEA Marketing Team, supporting in the delivery and expansion of the Arabic Social Media Strategy, ensuring it meets  Arabic speaking consumers and market needs, as well as delivering back to Hilton’s business objectives.

Social Media Strategy 

                     Lead the execution of the social media strategy ensuring tactics deployed ensuring that insight from knowing the market, knowing the audience and bringing our brand to life pull through every post.

                     Ensuring brand identity is upheld across all social media communications.

                     Ensuring that monthly content plans ladder back to brand and destination objectives.

                     Manage creative and community management agencies, ensuring value for money and SLAs are met.

                     Bring forward consumer insight to feed into content planning.

                     Build relationships with key platforms e.g. Meta, TikTok, Snapchat to bring innovation through aligned to social media strategy and business objectives

                     Develop and own annual social media content strategy, ensuring alignment with key regional brand campaigns and cultural moments and support Social Media Manager to deliver.

Social Media Management

                     Brief and manage agencies and in-house social content creator to develop and deliver engaging culturally relevant social media content.

                     Lead content planning with the support of our in-house social content creator.

                     Manage channels to ensure content is delivered to schedule

                     Ensure community management agency and customer service respond to customers across both paid and organic social aligned to SLAs and brand guidelines

Social Media Analysis and Reporting

                     Deliver meaningful measurement reports showing the progression of social and the impact as we roll out this channel across the market

                     Own and develop test and learn roadmap with clear hypotheses and reporting cadence

                     Define tools for benchmarking and reporting

                     Ensure reporting is delivered on time with actionable insights

                     Creators and Influencer Management

                     Develop creators briefs with agency partners to expand brand’s reach. Ensure all partnerships align with brand values and social media strategy.

                     Work closely with the brand team to ensure all content aligns with overall marketing objectives, brand voice, and target audience.



What are we looking for? 

                     Knowledge of the Arabic market (GCC focused) is desirable

                     Experience as a social media manager (minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial B2C marketing role)

                     Experience managing stakeholders expectations

                     Excellent understanding of Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat

                     Experience working across influencer campaigns

                     Success in building social media channels in the past

                     Experience in creating social media strategies across all platforms

                     Previous team management experience

                     Ability to Manage agencies to deliver creative content

                     Proven track record of great content creation and user engagement across platforms, primarily Meta. TikTok and Snapchat are desirable.

                     Hands on experience in content management, localisation, and creation.

                     Copywriting skills.

                     Ability to Manage agencies to deliver creative content.

                     Keeping on top of trends and what’s out there; fresh ideas and outlook.

                     Excellent communication skills.

                     An organised and creative individual that is hungry to make a difference!

                     Knowledge of the Arabic market (GCC focused) is desirable
