As an F&B Order Taker, you would be responsible for answering all food and beverage orders via telephone or digital systems, coordinating with the kitchen and service teams, and ensuring guests receive prompt and accurate service according to hotel standards.
What will I be doing?
As an F&B Order Taker, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Handle guest food and beverage orders through telephone and in-room dining systems in a professional and courteous manner
Accurately enter all orders into the computerized Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure timely dispatch to the kitchen
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered according to hotel standards
Maintain clear communication with guests regarding menu items, preparation times, special requests, and promotions
Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with food quality and service
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and special dietary requests
Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and beverage selections
Ensure all billing, posting, and cash handling procedures are completed accurately
Coordinate and control order flow during peak operation hours
Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain the brand’s high quality service standards
Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area and equipment
Handle guest requests efficiently and communicate effectively with all related departments
