Reporting to the VP of Brand Engagement Sustainability & Insights, you will lead the growth of an industry-leading Supplier Diversity program that advances small and diverse businesses that enhance our global supplier network of more than 17,000 properties worldwide. You will maintain a comprehensive supplier diversity strategy that meets Hilton goals and integrates with our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
While partnering with internal stakeholders and a range of external organizations, you will demonstrate project management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to work on projects of high complexity. Additionally, managing the refinement of the Supplier Diversity data, reporting, and technology ecosystem is critical.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Work across Hilton and Hilton Supply Management, and externally with suppliers and supplier diversity organizations to achieve program goals
- Develop and implement project plans and marketing and communications plans to support priorities
- Analyze supplier diversity spend and supplier data, prepare and vet reporting, and maintain technology tools and dashboards
How you will collaborate with others:
- Build relationships with external supplier diversity organizations to maintain Hilton's industry relations strategies, alliances, and programs
- Mentor and develop small and diverse suppliers as they prepare to do business with Hilton
- Work with Hilton Supply Management Category Managers to include W/MBE suppliers in sourcing events
What you will take ownership of:
- Produce the Hilton Supply Management presence at external tradeshows and conferences and develop internal annual events
- Represent Hilton through speaking engagements at industry events
- Verify and maintain the W/MBE supplier’s diversity status certification, and assist the supplier in acquiring such certification
- Ensure the inclusion of W/MBE suppliers and manufacturers in the RFQs and RFP process
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of work experience in procurement, management, and/or supplier diversity experience
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Travel up to 40% of the time
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or Master’s Degree
- Seven (7) years of relevant professional experience
- Experience using SupplierGateway or a similar supplier management platform
