Cook I (Part -Time) - Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Airport
Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Airport is looking to welcome a Part-Time Cook 1 to join the team!
The hotel is two miles from Orlando International Airport and within walking distance from nearby offices, dining, and shopping venues. We have our 24-hour Market which has sandwiches, salads, and grab and go items. We also have our Vista Fresh Food and Spirits restaurant, which features a traditional menu.
Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of cook experience in a restaurant or hotel setting. Looking for a team player that is passionate about cooking and has the ability to work the required shifts.
Shift Pattern: Part-Time 3-4 shifts per week between the hours of 7AM-11PM. Weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed.
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
