Senior Commercial Director, Luxury

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions!
What will I be doing?
As the Senior Commercial Director, Luxury you will work on projects that improve performance and market share for Hilton's Luxury portfolio. You will develop comprehensive commercial strategies, enhance brand positioning, and use digital marketing to elevate Hilton's Luxury brands. This position reports to the VP, Commercial Director, Americas.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Develop strategies to improve performance and market share, ensuring agreement on global Luxury market dynamics and competitive landscape, including specific individual high-impact and flagship Luxury properties.
- Enhance brand positioning with Luxury-oriented content and activation, addressing market gaps in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience.
- Establish and maintain critical sales relationships and develop a global Luxury Travel Advisors program to reduce dependency on external partners.
- Improve digital presence and guest engagement practices, applying expertise in digital marketing and CRM strategies.
How you will collaborate with others:
- While there will be no direct managerial responsibilities, you will be expected to lead cross-functionally and work with the Marketing and Sales teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams to manage and scale operations across multiple regions.
- Attend regular strategy meetings with senior leadership to review performance targets and adapt to market changes.
What initiatives you will take ownership of:
- Lead the implementation of a global Luxury Travel Advisors program.
- Oversee the enhancement of digital marketing initiatives to improve guest engagement and brand positioning.
- Support commercial strategies for individual high-impact Luxury hotels.
What are we looking for?
Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Proven track record of driving performance and developing revenue-generating strategies.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects and ownership groups, above-property support/leadership, and on-property support/leadership.
- Identifying trends ahead of competitors; ability to shift strategy to capitalize on those trends resulting in market share winning performance.
- Experience analyzing and applying data to lead commercial impact.
- Establish and maintain close collaborative relationships among Revenue Management, Sales, Distribution, Loyalty, Marketing, Brand, BPS, and other functional leaders in support of commercial strategies to connect the performance needs of the hotels with the performance drivers within each functional area.
- Change management and ensuring teamwork to lead collaborative efforts.
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience in Commercial Services, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, or Analytics.
- Minimum Five (5) years of Luxury experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of improving performance and market share in the Luxury hospitality sector.
- Travel >50% of the time
