As a Chef de Partie at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen with precision and passion. Working with a world-class culinary team, you will ensure the preparation, presentation, and consistency of all food items meets the highest standards expected at a Waldorf Astoria resort.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your section.

Assist in the development of menus and daily specials, contributing ideas and creativity.

Maintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with HACCP.

Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

Train, mentor and supervise Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.

Ensure that mise-en-place is prepared and maintained for your section.

Work closely with the Sous Chef to maintain consistency and quality across all outlets.

Collaborate with the broader culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment and areas.

Uphold Hilton’s values and brand standards in every task.
Qualifications:

Formal culinary training and relevant certifications.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.

Strong knowledge of international cuisine, with exposure to Mediterranean and island-style cooking being an advantage.

Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure environment.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Fluent in English; French or Creole is a plus.
