HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Support the delivery and implementation of data governance and standards across the organization.
  • Support compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.
  • Define and monitor data governance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion a culture of data stewardship and literacy across the company.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Partner with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure data quality, consistency, and lineage.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed governance into data pipelines and architecture.
  • Collaborate with Technology organization to help shape and deliver data governance to drive data management practices across the data life cycle.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • Manage metadata and data cataloging using modern governance platforms.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Work experience in Data Governance
  • Experience with data profiling and data cleansing
  • Experience with metadata repositories and data catalogs
  • Understanding of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and best practices
  • Understanding of the data privacy regulations and enforcement
  • Knowledge in using SQL queries
  • Familiar with structured and unstructured data
  • Travel up to 10% as needed

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Three (3) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Three (3) + years of hands-on experience in data governance, data quality, or data management initiatives.
