This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Manager Technology Executive Communications, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Program Management team reporting to the Vice President Technology Program Management & Governance, you will support projects including internal and external communications on behalf of the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Create programs to share the CIO's vision and accomplishments with Corporate Team Members, Owners, and other external partners.
  • Lead the communications strategy and editorial calendar for Hilton's CIO and executive leadership team, advising on narrative framing, priorities, and timing.
  • Advise the CIO on speaking engagements and executive presentations, including message framing, storytelling, and delivery.
  • Craft impactful internal communications materials and activations to support the communications strategy, such as programmatic communications, leadership presentations and messaging, and social media content.
  • Source and integrate data and Team Member stories to craft impactful messaging aligned to the Technology and Hilton enterprise narrative, distilling complex initiatives into clear, executive‑level headlines.
  • Apply executive judgment to prioritize messaging, assess risk, and tailor communications based on audience, timing, and business context.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Develop relationships with senior leaders across Global Brands and Commercial Services to influence content and messaging, often without direct authority.
  • Align with the Global Communications Team to ensure CIO content and messaging complement larger communications strategies and plans.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:

  • Inspire and engage Team Members through storytelling that builds understanding of Technology strategy and progress, while reinforcing the impact and culture of the Technology team.
  • Identify external opportunities for the CIO to share Hilton's technology story to include industry/functional events and speaking engagements, recruiting events, and social media.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Expertise in executive communications and internal communications for technology leadership
  • Storytelling experience, with the skills to translate technical concepts into clear, easy‑to‑understand written messaging
  • A natural curiosity and aptitude for technology, including AI, software engineering, big data, or infrastructure
  • Direct experience delivering sophisticated content, including social media, executive presentations, and communication plans
  • Knowledge of enterprise-wide communications planning in a corporate or professional services environment with experience in organizational change and multiple complex initiatives
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
  • This is a hybrid role and is required to be near our McLean or Memphis office locations

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a similar field
  • Eight (8) + years in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Experience working with a large global organization or a mid-to-large-size communications agency
  • Experience in the travel, tourism, service industries, or technology field
