Assistant Gym Manager - Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay
As an Assistant Gym Manager, you are responsible for helping to manage the operations of the fitness areas of the health club to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Gym Manager, you will assist in supervising team members, supporting customer service initiatives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the club’s fitness offerings.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support the day-to-day operations of the fitness areas within the health club
Assist in leading and motivating the fitness team to deliver exceptional service and meet performance standards
Ensure a consistent, friendly, and personalized service is provided to all members and guests
Address guest and member feedback constructively to support service improvement
Contribute to the development and delivery of fitness programs and services
Assist with team scheduling, shift coverage, and basic administrative duties
Support the Health Club and Fitness Manager in recruiting, onboarding, and training team members
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and COSHH regulations
Monitor the condition and security of fitness equipment and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Act as a point of contact in the absence of the Gym Manager
