Analyst HSM Finance

As an Analyst, HSM Finance on the Consolidations & Reporting team reporting to the Director of Consolidations, you will focus on revenue collection processes and associated reporting.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Ensure accurate payment reporting, reviewing completeness of daily transactions.
- Review and process contracted managed and 3rd party payment distributions.
- Review and maintain customer records in the corporate purchasing platform, to ensure prompt payment to customers.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Support the overall business operations strategy for Hilton’s purchasing function, Hilton Supply Management (HSM).
- Work cross-functionally with multiple departments including Accounting Shared Services (HAFS), HSM Finance, HSM Category Management, HSM Strategy & Insights, and HSM Digital Solutions.
- Partner with HSM stakeholders and HAFS team to ensure payment reporting meets business requirements
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Define and implement an improved process for revenue collection via an automated email distribution; communicating regularly with suppliers, liaising with HSM stakeholders, and escalating as appropriate to ensure complete and timely payment.
- Establish and update annually a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for newly created processes

You have these minimum qualifications:
- Two (2) years of professional work experience
- Working knowledge of procurement model/life cycle
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
It would be useful if you have:
- Procurement Accounting experience
- Accounting or related business degree
- Power BI proficiency
