HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Prepare monthly close journal entries
  • Perform general ledger reviews and balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of discrepancies or outstanding items
  • Prepare/review monthly financial statements for all consolidated insurance entities

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Engage with Risk Management team on insurance renewals and allocation
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation
  • Provide a support role for all other consolidation and reporting processes

What deliverables you will take ownership of: 

  • Global consolidated accounting and reporting for the insurance entities

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • One (1) year of work experience in accounting.
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Public Accountant or exam candidate
  • Knowledge of insurance-specific accounting practices and reporting
  • Experience with Peoplesoft and/or Hyperion Financial Management/FCCS
  • Advanced level Excel skills
