The Terrance on 10 Service Host provides refined, unobtrusive table and lounge service with expert product knowledge across cocktails (including zero‑proof), wine, beer, premium waters, coffees, and small plates/hors d’oeuvres. You uphold access‑control standards (adults‑only eligibility, capacity management), execute precise POS transactions, and ensure safety, sanitation, and Hilton brand compliance at all times.

What will I be doing?

As a Terrance on 10 Service Host , you own the guest experience flow across all dayparts—welcoming eligible guests, guiding them through programming, and delivering refined, anticipatory service while safeguarding the adults‑only ambiance and access standards.

o   Greet, seat, and guide access‑eligible guests; present the day’s programming (wellness, breakfast buffet, daytime service, sunset reception, evening entertainment).

o   Execute elevated lounge/table service: order taking, pacing, tray service, marking/silver, and refined table maintenance (crumbing/polishing).

o   Attend to the guest preferences and provide personalized service, anticipate guests needs with wellbeing checks every hour.

o   Assure the guests are offered 90 minutes amenities

o   Master menu knowledge, allergens, and dietary labeling; confidently recommend zero‑proof cocktails, premium pours, and pairings for hors d’oeuvres.

o   Support access control standards: verify wristband/room eligibility, manage waitlist/capacity with the Host & Reservations Liaison, and protect the adults‑only serenity policy.

o   Set, maintain, and break down stations: mise en place, polish glassware/silver, stock linens/smallwares, maintain cleanliness of service areas per HACCP and Aruba DOH.

o   Partner with bar tenders and Culinary to stage the sunset reception (gourmet hors d’oeuvres) and deliver synchronized service.

o   Operate POS accurately; process payments; follow cash handling and voucher procedures; close checks with precision.

o   Monitor guest sobriety and escalate appropriately; apply de‑escalation and guest‑recovery techniques; document incidents per policy.

o   Contribute to ambiance: align service flow with music/SPL and lighting cues; adapt to wind/sun conditions on the rooftop.

o   Attend daily line‑ups and trainings; contribute feedback and ideas for seasonal offerings and experience enhancements.
