The Spa Receptionist / Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through professional spa reception services and high-quality spa treatments. This dual-role position requires excellent customer service skills, strong spa and wellness knowledge, and the ability to create a welcoming, relaxing, and personalised spa journey for every guest.

What will I be doing?

As a Spa Receptionist / Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Guest Experience & Reception

  • Warmly welcome and assist guests and members in a professional, friendly, and calm manner

  • Manage spa bookings, scheduling, payments, and consultation cards accurately

  • Provide detailed information about spa treatments, wellness programs, and therapist specializations

  • Recommend suitable treatments based on guest needs and preferences

  • Manage customer feedback effectively and escalate concerns or compliments as required

Spa Therapy & Treatments

  • Deliver professional spa treatments in accordance with brand standards and training

  • Conduct guest consultations prior to treatments to understand expectations and wellness goals

  • Maintain treatment rooms to high cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards

  • Ensure correct use, storage, and handling of products and equipment

Sales & Revenue

  • Upsell spa treatments, packages, retail products, and promotions

  • Support achievement of spa revenue targets

Administration & Compliance

  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and spa policies

  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information

  • Report accidents, maintenance issues, or safety concerns promptly

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Teamwork & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with therapists, team members, and management

  • Support smooth daily spa operations and team coordination

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Good knowledge of spa treatments and wellness concepts

  • Certified in spa therapy (where applicable)

  • Sales-oriented with upselling ability

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
