Spa Receptionist/ Spa Therapist
The Spa Receptionist / Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through professional spa reception services and high-quality spa treatments. This dual-role position requires excellent customer service skills, strong spa and wellness knowledge, and the ability to create a welcoming, relaxing, and personalised spa journey for every guest.
What will I be doing?
As a Spa Receptionist / Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Guest Experience & Reception
Warmly welcome and assist guests and members in a professional, friendly, and calm manner
Manage spa bookings, scheduling, payments, and consultation cards accurately
Provide detailed information about spa treatments, wellness programs, and therapist specializations
Recommend suitable treatments based on guest needs and preferences
Manage customer feedback effectively and escalate concerns or compliments as required
Spa Therapy & Treatments
Deliver professional spa treatments in accordance with brand standards and training
Conduct guest consultations prior to treatments to understand expectations and wellness goals
Maintain treatment rooms to high cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards
Ensure correct use, storage, and handling of products and equipment
Sales & Revenue
Upsell spa treatments, packages, retail products, and promotions
Support achievement of spa revenue targets
Administration & Compliance
Adhere to cash handling procedures and spa policies
Maintain confidentiality of guest information
Report accidents, maintenance issues, or safety concerns promptly
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Teamwork & Communication
Communicate effectively with therapists, team members, and management
Support smooth daily spa operations and team coordination
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good knowledge of spa treatments and wellness concepts
Certified in spa therapy (where applicable)
Sales-oriented with upselling ability
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
