Hilton Vancouver Washington is looking for a Server Assistant/Busperson for Grays Restaurant and Bar, centrally located in the heart of Vancouver Washington with easy access to Portland International Airport. Featuring 226 rooms, the hotel is within walking distance to the gorgeous waterfront as well as to local bustling attractions such as the Vancouver Farmers Market (directly across the street from the hotel), making us an excellent base for both leisure and business travel.

The ideal candidate:
At least 18 years of age or over.
Has previous Food and Beverage knowledge
Has or able to obtain Washington state food handlers permit.
Flexible scheduling availability.
Shift Pattern: Varied AM PM (5:00am – 11:00pm) weekdays, weeknights, weekends and holidays needed; shifts will be dependent on business levels and seniority scheduling.
Pay Rate: $17.13 (tips additional) and based on applicable and specialized experience and location

What will I be doing?
As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
- Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
