This is your chance to be part of an in-house Architecture, Design & Construction team that delivers exceptional properties that delight our guests, reward our partners, and reflect the unique cultures of their geographical locations! As a Sr Director on the AD&C Luxury & Lifestyle team reporting to VP of AD&C Luxury & Lifestyle, you will lead design for all Luxury & Lifestyle projects in North America.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Define and evolve the design vision for Hilton's Luxury and Lifestyle portfolio across hotels, resorts, and branded residences in North America.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing design team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Anticipate cultural shifts and guest expectations to shape innovative, future-focused hospitality experiences.
  • Champion sustainability, wellness, and innovation as core pillars of modern luxury design.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Owners and Consultants throughout the development process, from concept through completion.
  • Partner with Development and Brand to support strategic growth across the Luxury and Lifestyle portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Food & Beverage, Wellness, and other functional teams to ensure design supports operational performance.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with leading creative partners to strengthen Hilton's design influence.
  • Represent Hilton's Luxury and Lifestyle design vision through industry engagement and thought leadership.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

  • Support deal strategy, site evaluation, and owner engagement with compelling design narratives.
  • Oversee complex, high-profile projects from concept through completion, ensuring design integrity and brand alignment.
  • Develop scalable tools and frameworks that drive consistency, quality, and performance across the portfolio.
  • Ensure projects meet brand standards, budget expectations, and Net Unit Growth (NUG) objectives while maintaining design excellence.
  • Guide creative direction for new brand launches, repositionings, and portfolio expansion.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality design within a global hotel operator or leading consultancy
  • Demonstrated success leading complex hotel, resort, or mixed use hospitality projects
  • Deep understanding of hospitality design processes, documentation, construction coordination
  • Proven experience building and leading high performance design teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or related discipline
  • Recognition within the design community through published work or award-winning projects
  • Experience contributing to new brand creation or major repositioning initiatives
  • Global exposure to leading luxury and lifestyle markets
  • Strong industry network across architecture, interior design, and hospitality development

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $130,000 – $210,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company. #LI-REMOTE
