What are we looking for:
We believe success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Ability to build trust and gain the respect of owners, developers, design consultants, contractors, and Hilton Team Members
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to handle complex circumstances
- Solve problems efficiently and creatively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Ability to work independently and take total responsibility for multiple projects at a time while working in conjunction with the global support teams
- Resourceful with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Blue Beam
- Extensive knowledge of means and methods of construction as well as the ability to recommend "on the spot" solutions to unforeseen construction problems
- General understanding of building systems: Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, and Civil
- Experience managing multiple projects from start to completion, experiencing all phases of the design and construction process
- Understand construction sequencing and can accurately forecast construction timelines and completion dates
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of design, construction, and renovation experience in development, construction, and renovation projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Travel as needed (approximately 15%)
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design or Construction related field
- Experience in hospitality industry in design construction renovation
- Licensed or Certified in: Architect, Engineer, Interior Designer, (NCIDQ), Project Manager (PMP)
- Experience with BlueBeam
