HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Manage development of new payments capabilities across entire product lifecycle, from early-stage ideation through go-to-market & post-launch analysis.
  • Pinpoint user needs (to include guests, Hilton Honors members, property owners, partners, and Team Members) to help define and prioritize new product features that will drive the most impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineering, experience design, and analytics teams to help develop product strategy, including feature definition, writing requirements and prioritization with consideration of business impact and technical capacity.
  • Partner with analytics to define and refine success metrics, ensuring proper tracking and reporting are available to support new initiatives.
  • Maintain industry expertise in payments, with special focus on how new capabilities are being leveraged in the travel and hospitality space
  • Apply data and customer feedback to find opportunities to enhance the customer experience through payments product.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional channels, such as mobile app, web and on property teams to deliver integrated solutions for a seamless customer experience.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Build trusted and highly effective working relationships across the product working team, inclusive of software engineering, experience design, product marketing, and analytics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other product managers, channel owners, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy, goals, and timelines.
  • Participate in regular updates to senior leadership on product enhancements, roadmaps, and feature performance.

What projects you will take ownership of: 

  • Payments is both broad and deep, and you will drive initiatives that transform how our guests pay for their bookings and on-property experiences, how our B2B customers enable their clients and employees to have frictionless travel experiences, and how we guests engage with mobile payment capabilities 

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Seven (7) years of work experience in Digital, Product Management, or Technical Project Management.
  • Experience in Agile process and tools such as Jira, as well as feature and requirements development.
  • Payments industry experience, to include mobile payments, developing new payment capabilities, card issuing, merchant services, fraud mitigation, B2B travel and accounts payable, and/or payment processing  
  • Travel approximately 10-15%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience 
  • Ten (10) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Hospitality, travel, or transportation industry experience
  • Experience managing or developing mobile applications
  • Experience working in an e-Commerce environment
  • Experience working within a complex multi-functional matrix environment
