Senior Manager, Partnerships Development
***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA***
This is your chance to be part of a Marketing and Loyalty team that attracts customers to Hilton through strong storytelling, top-rated, rewards, and differentiated customer partnerships, experiences, and adventures. On the Partnerships and Hilton Honors Adventures team reporting to the Director Customer Partnerships Development, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and implementing plans to advance the pipeline of Hilton's new partner prospects. Potential partners will come in from many different sources and will represent varied categories including travel, sports, live events/concerts, fitness/wellness, agencies, and many other categories across industries. You will lead intake, curation, assessment, prospect and stakeholder communications, as well as business case development and cross-departmental alignment to identify opportunities that best align with Hilton's enterprise priorities.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Drive problem resolution with internal resources and prospective partners to make sure proposals are consistent with Hilton's objectives, and ensure potential risks are mitigated and obstacles are addressed.
- Develop concepts to prepare partners for customer acquisition, engagement, growth and financial goal attainment
- Identify, initiate, and manage relationships with partners and prepare commercial engagement plans for each partner
- Lead potential partner due diligence to determine value and readiness. Evaluate potential partnerships for strategic alignment, including brand equity halo, market position, customer acquisition potential, loyalty program economics, and potential for incremental revenue (recurring group, event, and transient sales).
- Business case development and presentation.
- Serve as key point of contact for internal teams and external partners to ensure integration requirements are understood and efforts are implemented in a timely manner.
- Analyze loyalty program structures and economics to determine compatibility and mutual value creation.
- Translate ambiguous strategic objectives into structured evaluation models and actionable insights.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor partnerships to inform agile strategy development.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with key internal contacts to define account plans for each partner engagement
- Partner closely with regional loyalty, brand, customer experience, development, product and technology teams to be a subject matter authority on partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams to define partnership goals, success metrics, and operational integration plans.
- Participate in the annual planning process to establish prospect targeting and budgets in support of relevant activity
- Manage the execution of plans, ensuring goals and objectives for each are met on time and within the allocated budget
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Lead intake process of new partner referrals/inquiries
- Establish and maintain plans for a select pool of prospective partners as it relates to the objectives of the Marketing, Loyalty, and Partnerships team and wider Hilton business goals
- Ensure outstanding partner selection and integration by crafting processes to be efficient and consistent across the organization, building a culture of accountability to deliver high-quality work, and advocate for ways to increase value from the portfolio of partner and vendor relationships
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional experience
- Professional experience in business development or customer partnerships
- Proven experience with contract negotiations (drafting, red lining, working with counsel)
- Experience with synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into clear recommendations
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
- Travel - up to 15%
- Mclean, VA based position (3 days in office on average)
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or MS/MA Master's Degree
- Management consulting or agency experience
- Loyalty experience - familiarity with loyalty program mechanics, customer segmentation, and brand strategy.
