This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As a Senior Manager, Hilton Direct, you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being motivated to grow market share. On the Hilton Direct team reporting to the Director, you will serve a dual role as a coach and a direct seller. As a coach, you will be a vital part of our #OneTeam leadership team, driving performance by leading a team of six to eight (6-8) Sales Representatives in their roles. As a direct seller, you will also manage a small book of business, qualifying and closing sales, handling related customer follow-up, and driving revenue in collaboration with the Director or Owner of the accounts you will handle.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • You will direct and coach a team to success by promoting Hilton standard procedures, crafting customized solutions, and ensuring our teams are accessible, responsive, and consultative to all partners.  
  • You will collaborate with Account Director/Owner(s) and other Hilton Worldwide Sales specialists to ensure appropriate coverage and provide total client solutions.
  • You will respond to customer inquiries, qualify accounts, and lead follow-up on specific booking requests.
  • You will close sales by building rapport, explaining product and service capabilities, and overcoming objections, and offering alternative solutions.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Create brand partnerships using a defined and differentiated sales approach and improve knowledge of existing hotels, New Developments, and procedures to share with customers
  • Be dedicated to a "One-Team" commercial culture while living the Heart of Hilton

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • Lead a team by setting the vision, removing roadblocks, and coaching for success
  • Develop an understanding of current client needs (both internal and external) and craft a plan of action for how to address them

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in hotel sales or operations, either on or above property
  • Two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Hybrid work schedule in Dallas, TX (Typically 3 days per week in office)

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Delphi or similar property sales management systems
  • Experience using Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Knowledge of Amazon Connect Phone systems
