This is your chance to be part of our in-house Hilton Supply Management (HSM) team that supports our brands, owners, and operators! HSM has transformed how supply chain and procurement adds value to the hospitality industry, with 6 billion dollars of spend influence, over 2000 suppliers, and support of sustainability, supplier diversity, and responsible sourcing goals. As a Senior Manager, Category Management, you will support HSM’s customers and the HSM Account Services team, helping identify, develop, maintain and guide programs with unique and distinctive products and services. On the HSM team reporting to the Director, Account Management, you will work on projects for hotels and management companies, expanding HSM’s contracted coverage, while helping customers utilize and maximize HSM’s programs. You will be instrumental in assessing supplier performance, while triaging and escalating issues as they arise to support on-property procurement operations.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Hold suppliers responsible for maintaining order guides with current brand standard products and resolve issues with suppliers when brand standard items are outdated
- Manage category programs to increase utilization and maximize program revenue
- Monitor property participation and utilization rates with negotiated programs, addressing gaps and barriers to adoption
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with other HSM category managers to align strategies, share insights, and improve cross-category procurement processes
- Work with account managers to communicate supply chain shortages and category-specific market updates to properties and hotel owners, providing actionable recommendations
- Work with help desk and account management teams to triage and track issues through resolution
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Facilitate the supplier performance management process with a focus on long-term performance and relationship management
- Monitor Indicators for main suppliers and foster a program culture of continuous improvement
- Develop expertise and implement strategies on all items within your scope of work
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Six (6) years of sourcing and/or supply chain experience
- Three (3) years of experience managing projects and contracts in a matrixed environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience delivering presentations and leading customer-facing teams
- Experience handling sensitive information
- Willing to travel, mostly within the U.S., approximately 25%
It would be useful if you have:
- Management experience
- Experience with Hotel F&B, Rooms, or Engineering on-property experience
- CPSM, C.P.M., or PMP certificate(s)
- Experience with Coupa sourcing and contract platform
