Analyst, Revenue Management Support - Projects

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, and analytics functions! As an Analyst - RM Support, you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the GDM Projects team, reporting to Manager, RM Support, you will work on projects including analyzing and supporting the revenue management and distribution aspects of business initiatives. You will maintain standards for rate plans, rates, product sequencing, and other related processes supported by the teams associated with these areas of the business. You will also support corporate partners in building and modifying rates centrally for specific regions, brands, or globally. You will lend to identifying efficiencies and improvements in the process.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Build and quality check new offers in common reporting standard (CRS), global distribution system (GDS), and direct distribution channels.
- Manipulate SQL queries to quality check and improve quality control processes.
- Support hotel inquiries via email and ticket submission processes and document findings.
- Audit, amend, and analyze special rate plans and accounts across all distribution channels.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with corporate teams on special requests that impact CRS, GDS, OTA, and direct distribution channels.
- Implement objectives that support the broader Commercial Services objectives.
- Share workload with other teams when demand is high.
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Create training and technical documentation.
- Identify efficiencies using automation or streamlining processes.
- Collect and document requirements and design test plans.
- Facilitate testing, compile results, and communicate findings.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- One (1) year of professional experience
- Proficient in Excel (can perform complex functions) and other Microsoft Products
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, including synthesizing feedback, evaluating user or customer insights, or interpreting open-ended data
- Experience collaborating in team environments, contributing to shared goals and maintaining professional working relationships
It would be useful if you have:
- One (1) year of project management experience
- Five (5) years of professional experience in the travel industry, distribution systems, or technical development roles
- Experience using SQL to develop complex queries for extracting and analyzing large datasets
- Proficiency with Smartsheet, VB.NET, or VBA
