Senior Lead Cyber Security Architect

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• As an individual contributor, you will lead the security efforts for Hilton's flagship initiatives, while affecting millions of global customers and thousands of partners.
• Integrate with delivery teams as a Security SME, providing detailed consultation and collaboration to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and adhere to Hilton security and industry standards. Your recommendations on security requirements, architecture, patterns, and controls will help safeguard Hilton's customer-facing deliverables.
• Review product solution architectures and solutions ensuring they are secure, scalable, resilient, and integrate with Hilton's overarching architecture models.
• Play a key role in the continuous development, review, and adoption of Hilton's security standards and best practices, ensuring they evolve to meet emerging threats and industry advancements.
• Actively engage in the governance processes related to platform and application security, ensuring compliance with technology standards and regulatory requirements.

How you will collaborate with others:

• Engage with Multiple Project Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, development, product and operations, to ensure security is integrated into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Travel & Participate in Onsite and offsite Meetings: Attend various onsite and offsite meetings as needed for assigned projects or leadership engagements. These meetings will help you understand and contribute to the roadmap, build strong strategic partnerships with various teams within Hilton, and ensure alignment on security features and deliverables.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Lead security of Hilton's flagship global mobile apps, including leading the security of Hilton's Digital welcome product that powers Hilton's award-winning Digital Key capability.
• Take ownership of security review of critical initiative such as Luxury Travel Agency and Hilton 4 Business.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Six (6) years of combined work experience in Application Security, Customer Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security, Cryptography, AI Security, or Payments Security.
• Understanding of Customer Identity and Authentication technologies, such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, API Security, and AWS security.
• Strong cryptography fundamentals, understand payment security patterns, and solutions for preventing customer fraud.
• Familiarity of various industry regulations such as PCI DSS, various data protection and privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, NIST 800-53, SOC2, ISO 27001, PSD2/SCA, etc.
• A solid understanding and demonstrated experience delivering security architecture solutions and the ability to partner with business and technology facing stakeholders.
• This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
• Travel up to 10% as needed

It would be useful if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
• Ten (10) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Two (2) years as a Senior Security or Solutions Architect
• One (1) or more of cyber industry certifications such as CISSP, AWS Solution Architect (Associate level or Professional level) or AWS Security Specialty certification
• Two (2) years of strong software engineering and/or software development experience
• Experience in the hospitality industry
