What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Strong financial analysis skills; ability to analyze financial data to identify trends and issues, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
  • Learn new concepts quickly and thoroughly, confident asking questions and challenging assumptions, and willing to take measured risks when vital
  • Develop positive relationships with business partners, working together to ensure forecast inputs are provided timely and accurately
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build financial models to support forecasting, business analysis, and financial metric reporting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, including clearly explaining analytical topics to a wide audience
  • Discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Ability to work well under work demands and optimally balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis systems (i.e. Essbase) with the ability to quickly learn new programs as required

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or business unit planning
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint to build clear and concise presentations

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Proficiency with data analysis systems (e.g. Oracle Smart View or Essbase)
  • Hospitality industry experience
