This is your chance to be part of the next-generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton’s strategies, products, and experiences are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton’s goals.

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Director of Strategy, you will support the brands and commercial teams with the steadfast goal of strengthening and growing the Hilton portfolio. On the Strategy & Brand Innovation team, reporting to the VP, you will manage strategic analyses and projects, oversee a team focused on strategy development, and deliver business cases, presentations, and projects focused on bringing new products and services to market at scale.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Evaluate business opportunities through desktop research and market analysis, financial evaluation, and fit with Hilton. 
  • Analyze macro-trends, competitor movement, and white space against customer and owner insights, alignment with organizational priorities, and Hilton’s right to win. 
  • Develop long-term commercial and brand strategy inclusive of key organization objectives that reflect the viewpoint of a variety of stakeholders and present the analysis and findings through a logical, succinct, and compelling narrative. 
  • Build a formulaic and repeatable process of defining and sequencing workstreams, setting project timelines, and holding teams accountable to meeting objective deliverables.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate within the Hilton matrix to lead, influence, and execute activities that elevate and enhance Hilton’s brand globally.
  • Lead working teams through discovery to find solutions, drive guest satisfaction, and enhance profitability for Hilton and our owners. 

What initiatives you will take ownership of:

  • Manage cross-functional working teams to ensure collaboration and facilitate world-class quality output.
  • Develop team members to continually hone their skill sets and evolve their capabilities. 
  • Ensure successful adoption downstream with tools to measure and create accountability within the organization.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of professional experience
  • Experience in a global matrixed organization relating to hospitality, corporate strategy, or innovation.
  • Four (4) years of experience leading strategic, multi-functional projects.
  • Four (4) years of experience leading and developing team members.
  • Four (4) years of experience using analytical and financial processes to drive decisions.
  • Travel up to 15%.

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MBA Degree or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Ten (10) years of experience in hospitality, corporate strategy, or innovation
  • Five (5) years of experience supervising cross-functional teams.
  • Five (5) years of project management experience
