This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, modern technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Quality Engineer SDET, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Enterprise Quality Assurance Center reporting to the Manager Quality Engineering SDET, you will support projects including the Property Management System and Digital Key.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Design and write manual and automated scripts that run tests on all software/apps in an Agile environment
  • Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work.
  • Conduct QA testing to verify the integrity of web applications or APIs.
  • Document application defects and help the Scrum master /Product Owner to prioritize defects.
  • Stay updated with industry Quality Assurance best practices.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to provide feedback.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Work with project team to achieve high quality levels and standards in products.
  • Work with architecture team to gather QA requirements.
  • Report status to manager on daily basis.
  • Co-ordinate with supporting teams to support new feature implementation.
  • Communicate updates and resolutions

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for ensuring the compliance, functionality, and usability of software applications across different countries and regions.
  • Application validation and reporting bugs as identified via tool.
  • Compliance of quality processes and standards.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience testing front end UI with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with ReadyAPI, JIRA and Confluence
  • Must be willing to work in our Memphis office
  • Travel up to 15%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Three (3) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise software products.
  • Experience in the Hospitality domain.
