Product Manager (Booking)
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Guide the Hilton Digital roadmap, especially as it relates to the digital booking experience
- Define and present new product concepts to both technical and non-technical partners
- Write top-notch requirements and work with delivery pod to build and bring concepts to life for our customers
- Pinpoint customer needs (owners, Hilton Honors members, guests, partners, and Team Members) to help define and prioritize product features that drive the most impact
How you will collaborate with others:
- Build trusted working relationships across Hilton, including working with engineering, design, data science and analytics, brands, property, policy/regulatory, and market-facing teams
- Partner with internal Product teams on cross-functional projects
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Identify and build new opportunities to improve the booking experience for guests visiting our web and mobile app channels
- Define and prioritize customer experience features working with UX, Technology, Marketing, and Analytics
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional work experience in Product, Technology or related field
- Experience working within a complex cross-functional matrix environment
- Experience writing detailed product specs and documentation
- This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
- Travel up to 20% as needed
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience
- Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
- Experience with A/B testing and creating hypotheses that drive customer value
- Experience in an Agile or Scrum development environment writing user stories and gathering requirements from several partners
- Experience in the hospitality, travel or transportation industry
