***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA***
This is your chance to be part of an in-house Government Affairs team, building relationships with government entities and partners, and identifying legislative and regulatory risks and opportunities to advance our strategic goals and reputation. On the Government Affairs team and reporting to the Director, Federal Government Affairs, you will manage the Political Action Committee (PAC) and related political activities for Hilton and support our engagement with the Administration, Congress, and other stakeholders.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Manage our Political Action Committee, including budget, disbursements, governance, website, database, reporting, and fundraising activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state rules, guidelines, and laws by working with internal and external partners.
- Prepare research and materials on public policy issues to support the Federal Government Affairs team and Hilton’s strategic goals.
- Attend meetings with government, trade associations, and coalitions.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with the Government Affairs team to develop and implement our PAC strategy for federal and state engagement.
- Collaborate with the Vice President and Director on initiatives to elevate Hilton’s reputation among government stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with fundraisers, industry trade associations, Members of Congress and staff, and consultants.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Oversee PAC member engagement, daily activities, and filings.
- Support trade association engagement, including invoicing, dues, and sponsorships.
- Track and analyze legislation and regulations relevant to Hilton.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:

Three (3) years of work in related positions, including for a PAC, as a staff member in the US House of Senate office, political campaigns, or with a trade association.
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience in a combination of legislative affairs, fundraising, or related work.
- Previous database management and reporting experience.
