Senior Analyst, Distribution Services

This is your chance to be part of a Global Distribution Team that is an important part of Hilton's Commercial Services organization around the world. As a Senior Analyst, Distribution Services you will support the team responsible for booking channel management and negotiations, booking channel optimization and operations, and services including payment and transaction settlement for online and digital third-party channels driving business to Hilton's hotels globally. On the Distribution Services Finance team reporting to Director, DS Finance, you will work on projects including Hotel Payment Disbursement and Performance Incentive Programs.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources—including systems, records, and team members to complete reconciliations, prepare reporting and analyze data.
- Use Distribution Services systems, PeopleSoft, and advanced Excel functions to process and report data for internal and external partners.
- Research and respond promptly to hotel inquiries and information requests.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Identify issues or opportunities and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and standards or enhancing existing ones.
- Collaborate with our teams and external partners to share information aligned with our needs.
- Analyze data to identify issues and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve them.
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Oversee accounting responsibilities for the Payment Disbursement Program, including validating payment records, reconciling remittance notices, preparing journal entries, resolving hotel inquiries, and generating weekly transaction reports.
- Manage the Performance Incentive Program by staying current on agreements and ensuring accurate calculations and payouts per contract terms.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of professional experience in Accounting, analyzing financial data including variance analysis
- Three (3) years in general ledger account reconciliation
- Hybrid work schedule from Memphis, TN office
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Three (3) years in using advanced level Excel in a financial position, including formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, and macros.
