Manager, Digital Paid Media - Asia Pacific
Hilton is seeking a Digital Performance Media expert who will be responsible for managing paid media channels such as paid search, metasearch, display & social prospecting and retargeting for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The role requires management of media agency to achieve digital performance objectives (growth and efficiency), through formulation and execution of channel hygiene roadmaps, testing new partners and strategically advancing our paid media capabilities.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
- Media planning across multiple budget sources to deliver the highest impact for hotels across the region on a quarterly and annual basis
- Dynamic re-allocation of spends basis performance across channels, regions and hotels
- Driving revenue growth and efficiency gains within performance media channels and making improvements to process across PPC, display, social, retargeting, meta search, and affiliates
- Analyzing performance data against standards to determine whether the digital media department performance is on target to reach goals and takes corrective actions as necessary
- Forecasting growth to the hotels, regions and brands
- Help craft key performance indicators and assessments for optimal media performance (in partnership with performance, customer insights, and data and analytics teams)
- Trial and implement new local services, developing and sharing performance results and new best practices within digital acquisition for onward communication / sharing with Brands, Customer Marketing and hotels
- Managing external partners to deliver ROAS performance on paid media channels
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- BA / BS / Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of experience in online marketing roles in APAC
- Expert hands-on knowledge of managing and optimizing different digital channels (either client-side or agency side). Proven record of planning, managing and optimizing paid search / online activity to budget and revenue targets.
- Expert knowledge of Google Ads & Campaign Manager. Good understanding of web site tracking systems, and experience in using at least one such major system such as Adobe.
- Should have basic media buying experience on search or social or display
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing
- Ability to analyze website and paid media performance data (i.e. financial, statistical and/or performance)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act autonomously
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Extensive experience reviewing data, manipulating data, and developing insights
- Travel or hospitality experience is not a pre-requisite
It would be useful if you have:
- Prior experience in project managing implementation of tests with media agency to ensure activation is complete on time and on budget
- Maintain strong awareness of channel trends and positions how Hilton can activate / take first mover advantage
- Innovate in media channels but also feeding into the development and prioritization of media technologies to advance our capabilities and ways of working
- Being acutely aware of departmental priorities and implements a clearly defined roadmap to achieving them
