A Maintenance Specialist (AC Technician) is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems within the hotel to ensure optimal performance and deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while complying with health, safety, and energy efficiency standards.
What will I be doing?
As a Maintenance Specialist (AC Technician), you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC systems within the hotel. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support renovation and energy-saving initiatives to the highest standards. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Responsible for all air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems within the hotel
Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance checks on HVAC equipment
Diagnose faults and repair AC units, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, ducting, and control systems
Respond promptly to HVAC-related maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns
Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely at all times
Maintain hotel comfort levels in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Support energy conservation programs to reduce utility consumption and operational costs
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and service reports
Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialized HVAC services or major repairs
Assist with renovation projects related to air conditioning and ventilation systems
Identify potential risks and take corrective action to prevent equipment failure
Ensure tools, spare parts, and materials are properly maintained and stored
Support emergency response procedures related to HVAC failures
Perform special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned
Ensure a good working relationship with internal departments and external service providers
