As a Lead ServiceNow CMDB Administrator, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the ServiceNow team reporting to Senior Manager ServiceNow Data Governance, you will support projects including DevOps Change Velocity.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in ServiceNow.
  • Perform regular audits and reconcile CMDB data with other sources to resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement automation workflows to streamline configuration item (CI) discovery, reconciliation, and population into the CMDB.
  • Support service mapping and event correlation.
  • Generate and analyze CMDB reports to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Document CMDB processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Remediate CMDB Data issues.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Work with Change Management teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on configuration items and ensure accurate representation of configuration data.
  • Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on CMDB best practices, data entry standards, and usage guidelines.

What deliverables you will take ownership of: 

  • Define CMDB standards and data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop dashboards to measure CMDB health and accuracy.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Four (4) years of work experience as a CMDB Administrator, with a focus on ServiceNow
  • You are a Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in CMDB or Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Understand and working experience with CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
  • Travel up to 10 %

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience 
  • Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Understanding of object-oriented and relational database design
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB configuration, customization, and administration
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration
  • Interpret complex data sets and identify patterns
